“Your garden is a huge asset. It can be a vibrant, multi-functional extension to your living space. It should be a visual clue about your personality and reflect the care and attention you have given to the inside of your home. It is a statement about you and therefore needs careful and thoughtful consideration in the planning with skill and professionalism in the construction.”
Going back 20 years I was in the UK busy carving out a career in middle management for a large corporation. I gradualy became restless and disillusioned with my lot and developed a hankering for a less stressful and more rewading existence. So with some trepidation I parted from the security of a regular income to develop my own business in garden design and landscape construction.
I trained at Reaseheath College in Cheshire England and obtained a Higher National Diploma in Garden Design. My final course work was awarded a Gold Medal at the R.H.S Flower show at Tatton Park.
I have been lucky enough to work with some of the leading design and landscape companies both in Europe and here in New Zealand. I am experienced in designing gardens of all types from small terraced town gardens to large multi acre landscapes, and in places as remote and challenging as the Shetland Islands.
I moved to NZ in 2008 and I now live with my family in Coatesville and enjoy designing gardens across the majority of the North Island.
